Family ultrathin MacBook Air will soon be enlarged by a new, 15-inch model. The new laptop is to be presented in early 2012.
The future of the popular series of Apple MacBook Pro and MacBook Air speculated for a long time. Recently the network has been suggested that the Cupertino giant wanted to look like a professional line of machines to slimmer Pro line cousins, sold as Air. The information service DigiTimes shows that ultra-thin design, 15-inch MacBook is closer to realization than ever before.
Recent reports include models with a screen 15 inches to the next generation of MacBook Air. Refreshed series would be disclosed in the first quarter of 2012, although the pilot production units reportedly already started. It is not known whether these changes are already the first step in a series of grand unification MacBook Air and MacBook Pro. If so it will probably be the next appearance of the 17-inch model.
Apple's long-term goal is to be the total elimination of their mobile computers with 'unnecessary burden', which is to be a classic hard drives and optical drives. Communication mobile computing is the future based on the SSD. Thunderbolt ports, and data processing 'in the cloud'.
Everything indicates that in the first quarter of 2012 actually will see a new laptop from Apple. The only question is whether they are still classic MacBook Pro, or can restart a series of MacBook Air. Tim Cook Company in 2011, twice (in February and October) updated the MacBook Pro series, while the present form is checked into the MacBook Air on the shelves in June this year. Now it's time for another transformation.
