First ultrabook with optical drive - Samsung series 5

             Samsung Series 9 toyed with the category ultrabooks even before it was presented at Computex 2011. Now the Korean giant introduces the real ultrabooks, which will be the first of such devices with built-in optical drive.


 

         Within 5 Series Ultra Samsung will sell models with two different screen sizes - 13.3 and 14 inches. By jumping on such a high ceiling, the  new laptop with 14-inch matrix will be the first ultrabook in the market equipped with a built-in optical drive.

   

          Each of the new 5 Series Ultra laptops will be equipped with an aluminum housing, a wide range of processors based on Sandy Bridge, a hard drive with a maximum capacity of 1 TB, and 8 GB of RAM. From classic ultrabooks Korean machine will be able to distinguish between assembly dedicated graphics card AMD Radeon HD 7550M, though probably only in the larger model. To improve the comfort of the new laptop will be equipped with anti-reflective screen.


 


          Samsung Series 5 Ultra in the first place for the sale will go to the Korean market - even before the end of 2011. Starting price 13-inch model was set at about $ 1,300, while a 14-inch version will cost at least $ 50. more. The new laptop to its official premiere will be on January's CES 2012, soon after their debut on the European and American market.
