Lenovo IdeaPad Yoga - hybrid tablet with ultrabook

Lenovo today unveiled the CES its first product for Windows 8 - IdeaPad Yoga, which is a hybrid tablet with ultrabook and combine the advantages of having both.

At first glance, Yoga IdeaPad looks like a normal ultrabook. Equipped with a screen size of 13.3 inches and a resolution of 1600 x 900 pixels, it can have up to 8 GB of RAM and SSD memory up to 256 GB. There will also be quite heavy - it has to weigh "1.5 kg", which means it will probably be heavier than the 13-inch MacBook Air (1.35 kg). The thickness of the new laptop is expected to be 16.9 mm (Air is at its thickest point 17 mm).

IdeaPad Yoga, however, will consist of a number of ways, and also have a touch capacitive screen. This will set the device in such a way that only use the screen without having to view the keyboard. IdeaPad Yoga can also "stand" for example, allowing comfortable viewing experience.

The new laptop will not be cheap - is expected to cost about 1000 dollars, or as much as the cheapest 11-inch MacBook Air with 64GB memory. In this case, of course, also speak of the lowest configuration. One can only guess how much it will cost version with 8 GB RAM and 256 GB of memory. The year 2012 promises to be  the year of expensive laptops.
