HP Envy Spectre XT- new ultrabook of 'Ivy Bridge'

Hewlett-Packard has updated its range of mobile computers with new models in the Envy Spectre features the latest Intel processors. Of special note is version of the XT, which looks charmingly like ... MacBook Air. Almost. But this is not a problem, because Apple has a monopoly on the metal and rounded corners.

The appearance of Envy Spectre XT has already cause resentment among the followers of Apple fans and no wonder, for a new laptop resembles in some respects, the MacBook Air. Any objections HP said the director himself, Steve Wolff, who stated that the construction of a computer determines its destiny and market segment, which misses. The research also showed considerable differences between the new Envy and MacBook - the presence of the first rubberized base and the magnesium casing finished by brushing.

Enough, however, the appearance of a new laptop! In the middle lies a far more interesting things. The screen may not be the strongest point of the new ultrabook, because the 13.3-inch has a very average resolution of 1366 x 768 The issue of components already looks much better - you can choose from several models of processors Core i5 and Core i7 third generation, of course, the most energy-efficient ULV series. Used RAM running at 1600 MHz and has a capacity of 4 GB. Instead of the standard hard disk or SSD media decided to flash memory connected via port mSATA, having a capacity of 128 or 256 GB. It enables the mechanism Intel Rapid Start.

In terms of external interfaces, the computer falls well - it has two USB ports, including one 3.0, memory card reader, Gigabit Ethernet port, HDMI output and a mini jack used for audio input and output. Built-in Wi-Fi "n" supports wireless image transfer WiDi. There were also Bluetooth, a webcam capable of recording HD movies and Beats Audio sound system. It is worth noting that in addition backlit keyboard and touchpad, the new Envy has a trackpad, which is part of the touch panel located on the screen. The whole is housed in an enclosure with a thickness of 14.5 millimeters, the computer weighs 1.39 kilograms.

The operating system of the new laptop is, of course, Windows 7, and a choice of editions of Home Premium, Professional, and Ultimate. Whatever your choice in the system will be installed the full versions of Adobe Photoshop Elements Premiere Elements 10 and 10 and a security suite Norton Internet Security 2012 with 24-month subscription. Envy Spectre XT will be sold for a base configuration price of $ 1,000 from 8 June.
